The Pavilion is a Warrnambool Icon, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy the view no matter the weather. We just happened to chance a pod of dolphins in the bay which was amazing. Sorry no photos of the dolphins. Atmosphere and service was great, didn’t have a meal but the bowl of chips were great. A nice aioli or side sauce other than just tomato would have been great. Worth a coffee stop or lunch if you’re in the area. They don’t do a dinner service, only breakfast and lunch.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had breakfast at Pavilion Café & Bar today and were so impressed. We arrived at 10:45am, knowing breakfast finished at 11:30am, and were seated quickly and without any fuss. Our order was taken promptly and our food arrived within 15–20 minutes, which was excellent timing given how close it was to the end of breakfast service. We were finished by around 11:40am and never once felt rushed. What really stood out, though, was the wait staff. Their efficiency and teamwork were outstanding to watch. Four-plate carries, clearing tables on the way back to the kitchen, and seamless follow-ups where one staff member cleared and another wiped down tables — it was all so well coordinated. The supportive teamwork was genuinely beautiful to see. On top of that, the food was delicious and the poached eggs were absolutely perfect. I was so very impressed with the staff today and the overall experience. Thank you — we’ll definitely be back!

Spectacular and attentive service from the moment you arrive ! This is how cafes should be run - customer service, quick and perfect coffee, food on point and not over complicated. Well done team, you should be proud. Views over the bay add to the atmosphere and calmness.
Great cafe-bar situated at the start point of the main pier and boat ramp in Warrnambool offering great service, food, meals and of course great cold beer. My wife and I always come the the Pavilion each year when we holiday in Warrnambool for 3-4 days each summer for breakfast, lunch or for an afternoon drink. Highly recommended.

Sea breezes, great eggs, great juice, great view… what more could you want? Well, how about an amazing pulled pork and beans atop a corn fritter with eggs and avocado? Totally worth a trip just for that!!!
We came in on Saturday for breakfast and it was packed. This place is popular! Luckily we only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. The poached eggs were nice and the mushrooms on the side were very tasty. They do a kids milkshake size, which is good, because the regular milkshake is like a litre of milk. Coffees were nice and the bacon and egg panini was good. It had some kind of relish. Eggs benny was worth getting again. The view of the ocean is unique to that area, but it’s super windy, so I don’t know when anyone could sit outside. Staff were all very friendly. Parking was plentiful, and you can walk (or short drive) to stingray bay to check out rock pools after if you like.
